"The Kirtaniyas are an up and coming kirtan band steeped in the pure bhakti traditions of anicent India. These four energetic, multi-talented artists come from a rich, colorful background. They grew up in a Krishna culture of song, dance, philosophy and devotion. At the heart of it all, there was always Kirtan; it owned their passion before they could talk.
Come rejoice in the moods of authentic, ecstatic devotional chanting. Experience the nectar!"

Kirtan with Tom Lena

A guitarist and harmonium player, Tom offers kirtans to inspire others with the sacred sounds of vocal chanting. Leading kirtan at Global Mala Boston and releasing his first Cd, “ Om @ Club Passim,” recorded live at the popular Harvard Square coffee house, Tom believes there are no hard and fast rules for kirtan which can be prayerful or celebratory. Kirtan only asks that we open our hearts so that we may wake up our souls and flow into grace.
