Lucy's background is in holistic therapy, and she is qualified in several healing modalities including Aromatherapy, Massage, Reflexology, Pre & Post Natal Massage, Ayurveda, Thai Massage Therapy, Reiki and Naturopathic Nutrition. She is passionate about the mind body connection, and the direct influence they have on one another. Having practiced yoga for many years, it wasn't until Lucy discovered and fell in love with Bhakti yoga that she felt inspired to teach and share this sacred practice with others. She has completed Teacher Trainings with Govind Das in Lunar, Yin and Restorative Yoga and Bhakti Yinyasa Yoga. She has also completed 95hrs of Kids Yoga Teacher Training with Rainbow Yoga, and regularly teaches children of all ages.

Whilst Lucy loves the physical practice of Asana, both strong and restorative (solar and lunar), Lucy is particularly drawn to the true healing qualities of yoga - both on and off the mat. Lucy believes yoga is not just a physical practice, it's a tremendous tool to help us shift our perspective to become more conscious and chose how we respond and react to our thoughts and move through life - ultimately connecting us to our heart center, our true self and higher essence.

Lucy believes in the magic of love, the power of touch and the pure alchemy of yoga. She believes that through finding connection and compassion with ourselves and others, we will make the world a better place!

Originally from the UK, Lucy loves to travel and has spent time in many countries, but is continually grateful to call sunny Santa Monica home for the last 7 years, where she lives with her family. She feels blessed to be a part of the wonderful community and heart space that is Bhakti Yoga Shala !
